We had the opportunity to visit Divine Grace Primary School this week. It was an amazing time! The children were finally able to meet the students they had been running, communicating through letters and praying for for the past few years. DG has 834 students, grades Pre-K - 7th, 231 who board. They have a wonderful staff of teachers who do a great job of teaching and sharing the love of Christ with the students. We were able to worship in the finished Dining Hall, help teach some dental care, pass out gifts, play games, sing songs, and begin a extension of the Clinic. The highlight of the visit was meeting our Grace. We have sponsored her since last October. She is beautiful! She is 12 years old and in Grade 4. Abigail really enjoyed spending time with her and even sat in class with her for a few hours one day. We also were able to take her home one day and meet her precious mother Rosemary and brother Tom. She also has an older brother named Stephen, but he was still at school. Rosemary graciously invited us all in her home and we had the opportunity to pray for them. Grace's father has passed away, her mother cultivates the land for food and makes mats to sell. My heart aches for her. I can not imagine all that Rosemary has been through and has to face each day. Praying God's richest blessings upon them.
